About Auntie Rae's Dessert Island
Escape to sweet indulgence. Auntie Rae has created tempting tidbits that will whisk you away to a sanctuary for your sweet tooth. You couldn't pick a better island to be marooned on. Instead of coconuts, you can eat silky chocolate pie. Instead of hunting for fish, you can dig into an ice-cream sundae. And instead of talking to a volleyball for months on end, you can enjoy the company of friends.
That's what Auntie Rae's Dessert Island is all about, after all. Inspired by a Jane Austen quote that muses on the nature of good company, Raelynn Potts (AKA Auntie Rae) set out to establish a community hub where people can bask in quality conversation and sweet treats. Whether that means enjoying a quiet chat in the Parlor, playing with your kids in the Friends and Family room, surfing the free WiFi in the Library, or pouring over clues in a murder mystery tea party, guests can do so with a handmade dessert and a warm cup of tea. The sweeping sweets menu includes everything from triple-berry pie and hot-fudge cake to Grandpa Blaine's Buckin' root-beer float.
