Golf obstacles parallel life challenges and reinforce conventional wisdom that the only way to escape rough patches is through excessive clubbing. TPI-certified golf-fitness instructor Angie Ause tailors 60-minute private tutorials to each pupil’s skills and golf goals. After students display current swing mechanics with their own clubs or a set supplied by Angie, V1 video analyses provide a visual breakdown of the day’s lesson, aid apprentices in studying their techniques, and showcase any post-swing pirouettes missed by the naked eye. Participants with six sessions under their belt qualify for a TPI evaluation, which improves swing and strength by combining a physical assessment, an HD-video playback of the session, and 18 individualized video workouts that improve swing imbalances.
Starting in December, Angie will meet with students Monday–Saturday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. unless caddie-jousting practices overtake the facility. Maplewood’s Goodrich Golf Dome charges $8 for range balls; they are free at Minneapolis’ Second Swing.
