Our mission is to provide high-quality yoga instruction for students at all phases and stages. From beginner classes, to prenatal groups, experienced yogis, and training for yoga teachers, we aim to make yoga as easy to implement into your daily life as possible. We appreciate the traditional roots of the practice and hope to offer these teachings in a way that’s easy-to-digest, inspired, and useful.
Austin Yoga is teacher-owned + woman-owned by Alek Trail in Austin, TX. Alek has been teaching yoga for the past 10 years in many different types of settings - public classes, corporate offices, teacher trainings, retreats, and private sessions to name a few. In addition to Austin Yoga, Alek has had the privilege of running and co-owning Barefoot Movement, a yoga studio in Oakland, CA, for the last 5 years. Alek brings her experience and passion of teaching and running a yoga studio with her to Austin Yoga.
