I am very impressed by the staff at Avanti medical spa.They are very professional and conscientious in they way they perform their practice. They take medical history into account within their practice and their consent forms are very detailed and clear so the client knows what to expect. It felt like a holistic experience and I got alot of insight about the specific tightness I had in certain areas of my body. I loved the fact that the massage table is warm. Maggie was my massage therapist and she was very professional. She provided me with optional coverings for my intimate areas for the massage. She also gave me insight about her assessment of the tension in my body. She explained her techniques clearly before doing them so I knew what to expect. The massage felt rejuvenating and refreshing. Her technique was the right fit for my body in that momment, involving stretches, pressure combined with gentle strokes. After the massage, she gave me a very good iced tea that gave me hydration and helps detoxify the body and facilitate the lymphatic drainage. She gave me post massage instructions like taking a cool shower, to do stretches and to avoid positions and habits that will cause muscle strain. The staff at the front desk were also very professional and efficient in processing the consent forms as well as the groupon transaction. It was also nice to know that there are nurse practicioners and esthetican nurses working at the facility.
