What You'll Get
A face can both hide and reveal a person's age, just as a hand can both hide and reveal a child's nose after an uncle has mysteriously removed it. Dabble in porous prestidigitation with today’s Groupon: for $35, you get a facial package at Aveda Academy Denver (up to a $74.50 value), which includes a 60-minute Pureskin facial (a $70 value) and a beverage at Café Pure (up to a $4.50 value).
The licensed aestheticians of Puretalent Salons at Aveda Academy Denver carefully attend to clients’ individual beauty needs, earning a place among Salon Today’s Top 200 Salons. After a complimentary consultation kicks off their session, visitors can commission a member of the aesthetics orchestra to enact epidermal harmony with a choice of five 60-minute Pureskin facial treatments. Naturally derived ingredients frolic among pores during the botanical skin-resurfacing facial, which uses bamboo extracts to attract escaped pandas and create a natural alternative to microdermabrasion. A soothing foot-and-scalp massage keeps tension from fleeing to remote body parts during the restorative Self Renewal Results facial, and the Outer Peace acne-relief-facial treatment helps to exfoliate and even skin tones without overdrying. Finally, the Enbrightenment skin-discoloration facial wields plant-based serums to reduce the appearance of discoloration, dark spots, and moles shaped like Conrad Bain.
Inside of the Puretalent Training Salon, exposed-brick walls collaborate with free-standing mirrors, high ceilings, and frosted windowpanes to create an industrial décor. After a complimentary application of light makeup finishes off each session, patrons can ease back into busy lifestyles by sipping an enlivening blended latte (a $4.50 value) or other beverage at nearby Café Pure, or by getting into a shouting match with the salon’s resident rooster.

About Aveda Academy Denver Pure Talent Salons
Kevin and Tiffany Krauklis have trimmed tresses within the exposed-brick walls of their salon in the historical LoDo District since 1983. In 2003, they joined with Aveda to transform their space into a series of three training salons, where trainers guide budding stylists through several levels of hands-on training. Licensed Stylists first complete an eight-month training program at the Pure Talent Training Salon, then build a few years of experience at the Pure Professional Salon. The final stage at the Pure Masters Studio lets them hone advanced styling techniques, such as calling each strand of hair by its own special nickname.
At each of the salons, the seasoned staff beautifies customers' tresses using Aveda's line of natural beauty products. These deliver on Aveda's commitment to well-rounded earthly beauty with eco-friendly packaging that cradles ingredients derived from the world's finest and least selfish plants. Staffers at Aveda Academy Denver Pure Talent Salons also enhance all hair services and facials with a finishing touch of subtle makeup.
