What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Awakened Fitness workouts are intense, but participants learn to exercise mindfully. This ultra-focused state increases body awareness and muscle recruitment when performing our close-chain and core focused workouts. Classes meet M+W at 6AM and 8:30AM, and also on T+Fr at 7:00PM at Paladin Hall. A/C
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
By focusing on setting and meeting goals with clients, they are inspired to keep pushing forward. By modifying exercises based on a clients experience level, certified instructor Alex Cromartie ensures that anyone can make consistent progress toward achieving success.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After years of watching people mindlessly throw weights around in the gym, I created a fitness system that stresses mindfulness (present moment awareness, or being in “the zone”) during training and focuses on proper body mechanics and working from your core.
What do you love most about your job?
The most rewarding thing about fitness training is showing people that they can do things they thought were not possible, and then watching the positive effect it has on their life.
