On Saturday, August 3rd, competitors plunge into the wilderness surrounding Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort to see who can complete a challenging five-mile course in the shortest time. The course criss-crosses the Sevier River, requiring participants to swim, wade, or walk depending on the river's fluctuating water level. To make it more challenging, the organizers pepper the course with rope climbs, tire runs, and a 30-foot wall-climb. The first place runner receives an adventure package from Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort, including a stay in one of their log cabins and activities for four, while the second place winner gets a one-night stay at the Eureka Casino Resort and a choice of tour for two.
