Q:

My wife and I are in our mid 50's and are not terribly athletic but we have finally managed to save enough to take a trip to Hawaii in a couple months. My wife's 'Bucket List' includes snorkeling but I really would like to provide her with the opportunity to dive, if possible. Is this something that would encourage that dream? We can discuss past surgeries and chemo treatments later if you prefer but I'm just trying to look at the possibilities. Thank You

Q:

Im already certified but havent logged a dive in 18+ months. Would this be a good class for me?

Jaimee O.  asked on  Jun 21, 2013

A:

This is a beginner introductory course that will count towards eventual open water certification. Since you are already Scuba certified, you really need a Scuba refresher. Please call 602.971.3483 and ask one of our Dive Professionals to get you scheduled. On a separate note, we dive almost every weekend. Once you get back in the swing of things, please check out our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/academyofscuba and stay in touch with our ongoing dive activities, both locally and outside the Phoenix area.
