Very slow sushi chefs. When it wasn't busy but especially when there was a packed house...took 40 minutes for our roll (1 roll because we had already had other rolls)!Service was great, he checked on us often and apologized for the delay.

What You'll Get

Chopsticks help diners practice picking up small bits of seafood before moving on to freshwater stilt fishing. Stick to it with this Groupon.

$15 for $30 Worth of Sushi

In between slicing orders of sashimi ($9+), chefs roll a menu of maki, such as the tempura-fried chimichanga roll with tuna, crab, and sweet and spicy cream sauce ($13).

Big Eye Sushi Bar

Chef Yohan Yun first began working in sushi restaurants when he was 16, however, he credits his father with teaching him many of the skills that he still uses at Big Eye Sushi Bar to craft miso, soy sauce, and nato, a type of fermented soybean. The menu spotlights fresh fish; even the maki use rice sparingly. The rolls instead accessorize the tightly bundled fish and vegetables with such adventurous ingredients as chipotle cream sauce and thin slices of lemon. Orders of sashimi arrive with fragrant ginger sauce or jalapeños, keeping diners from tossing chopsticks to rakish musketeers having sword duels.
