Baby Boot Camp
After having her first child in 2001, Kristen Horler was excited to get back into her regular fitness routine. A certified spinning instructor, personal trainer, and triathlete, she had always been passionate about working out, but as a new mom, she was having trouble finding a fitness program that would accommodate her busy schedule. And so she created Baby Boot Camp, which allows pregnant women and new moms to get in shape while also spending time with their kids. During 45- or 60-minute workouts, certified instructors guide women through cardio, strength training, and stretching exercises using their strollers as props or as extra storage space for lamaze trophies. The company also offers 5K training and nutritional programs designed for new and expectant mothers.
