Back To Nails
While working for Argosy Hotel and Spa, Kimberly Espino saw an impersonal flurry of fingers and toes every day. The licensed massage therapist and nail technician wanted to slow things down—she founded Back To Nails as a more intimate venue for her clients, where she personalizes every treatment based on their cosmetic and therapeutic needs. Her services cover custom massages and mani-pedis, which decorate nails in OPI, China Glaze, or Gelish chip-resistant polish. She also cocoons guests in body wraps, drawing on ingredients such as chamomile and French red clay to reduce signs of aging without whiting out the dates on their favorite concert T-shirts.
If when visiting Salon Saber you start to feel like you're the only person in the room, that's because to an extent it's true. Owner and nail artist Kimberly Espino accepts just one client at a time, meaning that every guest is given personal attention and time with the nail artist. Kimberly is a licensed massage therapist and licensed nail technician, and recently became a L'Oréal educator and nail artist. At Salon Saber, she parlays her technique and artistry onto fingers and toes one digit at a time. Her palette includes more than 200 polish colors and 45 glitters, and her services include gel and traditional mani-pedis. Kimberly also offers IBX nail treatments, which uses LED lights to cure the nail from the inside. This strengthens the nail and minimizes the chance that it becomes damaged or broken while clawing one's way out of a street mime's invisible box.
