What You'll Get
Before modern bicycle maintenance, velocipedists would keep up their penny-farthings by greasing rusty sprockets with horse oil and whittling spare spokes out of telephone poles. Trust a bicycle guru to maintain your frame and more with today's Groupon: for $29 you get a complete tune-up at Back Pedal Cycle Works. The complete tune-up includes cleaning your bike's frame and components, wheel truing adjustments, brake adjustments, derailleur adjustments, fastener and pivot point adjustments, bearing adjustments, oiling the chain and cables, and inflating the tires. Parts are not included (mostly refers to the chain, brake pads, and lead role in the Senior Center's holiday play). This detailed inspection comes in handy for preparing your bike (or a friend's) for the spring.
Clean frame and components, true wheels, adjust brakes, adjust derailleurs, adjust all fasteners and pivot points, adjust all bearings, oil chain and cables, inflate tires.
- If you must stop by this great local bike shop. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a nice collection of bikes and some really cool old bikes that are a must see. I just got a tune up and delivery was fast and very reasonably priced. My bike runs better than it did new. Thanks! – nick z. Yelp
