What You'll Get
Running was popular in Europe long before it caught on in America, which is why most races are measured in kilometers and why most of the Pilgrims were eaten by bears. Race to the top of the food chain with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $22 for a Bad Prom 5K race entry for one (a $45 value)
- $42 for a Bad Prom 5K race entry for two (a $90 value)
From the power ballads to the formalwear to the sweating and shortness of breath, the Bad Prom 5K re-creates the prom experience in cities across the United States. Clad in an old prom or bridesmaid's dress, a thrift-store suit, or one of the Bad Prom T-shirts given to each participant before the race, runners dash through courses decorated with dazzling lights and neon accents while favorite old-school jams pump through the sound system.
At approximately each kilometer mark, runners stop for photo ops at four pit stops decorated in such classic prom themes as "Titanic," "Under the Sea," "Fairytale," and "Paris." Unlike some races that rank runners by time, Bad Prom only measures success in laughter and the lack of people silently weeping in the corner. After they sashay across the finish line, participants can wind back the clock and boogie to nostalgic prom songs and current hits at the post-race dance party.

About Run or Dye
Run or Dye is making race running a little more colorful, one major city at a time. This 5K is divided up into four separate courses of varying lengths, each designated by a separate color—which also reflects the color of safe, eco-friendly powered dye the participants get splashed with. At the end of the race, they'll cross into the aptly named Dye Zone—a polychromatic free-for-all where fluorescent color is thrown freely from all sides, allowing runners to splash their fellow runners or get colorful revenge on their friends, family members, and any cranky art-history teachers that happen to be walking by.
Unlike some races that rank runners by time, Run or Dye only measures success in color and fun. While the safe-to-eat dyes should wash out of clothing, runners are encouraged to wear things they don't mind getting dirty, preferably in white, gray, or another neutral color to give the dyes maximum visibility.
