Q:

Will you ship or mail? Nancy

Nancy B.  asked on  Feb 9, 2013

A:

Nancy...sorry we're unable to mail...don't have all the refrigerant packaging for that. Very easy pick up at the store though. You can call ahead and we'll have everything packed and ready to go.

Q:

Are the tamales put into oven or microwave when ready to eat?

beth e.  asked on  Feb 8, 2013

A:

Very easy. The tamales are all fully cooked and vacuum sealed. You just need to heat them by putting the plastic pouch in boiling water on the stove top or microwaving the tamales in the plastic pouch after making a small hole to release any pressure. Then simply cut open the pouch and slide the tamales onto a plate.

You pick them up in the store. We always carry a large supply so you can just come in or you can call in advance and we'll have everything packed and ready to go when you arrive.

Q:

Can these be frozen and reheated later?

Sherrie H.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

All the tamales are vacuum sealed immediately after cooking and cooling. And then we freeze them. They are all vacuum sealed in packs of 4 so you don't have to defrost an entire dozen when you want to eat. After 16 years of doing this we have found this is the best way to offer. That way you can take advantage of a super deal and get 3 or 6 or 9 dozen at a time and they can remain fresh in your freezer.
