Q:

I'm buying this for a git. If my husband doesn't think he needs the essentials class, can he take the intermediate or advanced class? He has a new DSLR, but he also has some experience already. I'm not sure if I should get this Groupon for him. Cindy

Cynthia C.  asked on  Apr 12, 2013

A:

Cynthia: Unfortunately, this deal is only for the Photo Essentials class and cannot be traded for another class. Sorry.

Q:

How many people in a class?

Anne H.  asked on  Apr 12, 2013

A:

Anne: It all depends on the day. Some classes have as few as perhaps 8 people and other classes can have as many as 24. Saturday classes are the most popular and so those dates could have 24 people in them. But it all depends on who signs up for any given date. Regardless of how many people are in a class, most students finish satisfied that they have learn how to use their cameras when the class is done. It really doesn't matter that much on how many students are in the class with them. Thanks for your question.

Q:

Can they teach on any camera?

Jeannie C.  asked on  Apr 12, 2013

A:

Jeannie: The camera must be a DSLR camera... it cannot be a point and shoot camera. But as far as brands, yes, as long as it is a DSLR Camera, the brand does not matter. A DSLR camera is a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera... the cameras that have the lenses that are interchangeable.

Q:

Russ--Did you move? You were in the Zurich building...

Meg O. L.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

Yes... Balanced Exposure moved to a classroom that is 1.5 times larger than the old facility in Zurich Towers! The new classroom/studio offers so much more now! LOTS of space for the students with plenty of "elbow room" and the studio got larger too! The new location is right next to Woodfield mall. Our building is directly behind the Olive Garden along Golf Road and in front of the Macy's department store at the mall. You can't miss the building... 1101 Perimeter Drive, Schaumburg, IL 60173. We are on the 2nd floor in Ste. 210. Students really seem to love the new place! You can see photos of it on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/balancedexposure1

Q:

seeing one per person wondering if there is a way to have spouses attend

Laurie L.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

Thanks for answering John. I might also add that you may share your cameras with your spouse during class as well. Many couples do that!

A:

This would be allowed, though they would need to have their own Groupon. You'll be able to purchase one for yourself and one as a gift.
