- $289 for a hot-air balloon ride for one person ($650 value)
During each balloon ride, passengers float through the air for roughly 60 minutes, passing over the muddy waters of the Chattahoochee River or the islands dotting Lake Lanier. Flights need four passengers total in order to take place.
Stuart Enloe has logged some serious time in the sky. He's spent more than 200 hours in gas balloons, performed more than 80 parachute jumps, flew for 600 hours in airplanes, and totaled a whopping 2,700 hours in hot-air balloons. In total, he has spent enough time in the air to justify carving a second home into a cloud—more than 145 days.
At his main aerial outlet, Balloon Atlanta, Stuart carries this experience with him on every flight. He maintains a fleet of colorful hot-air balloons, available for scenic flights over some of the Southeast's most stunning landscapes. His passengers float over Lake Lanier, just barely skimming the surface, or sail up until mountains frame the warm light of sunset and set the scene for a romantic kiss or engagement. Regardless of which route he follows, a dedicated crew follows on the ground to pack away equipment and provide passengers a ride back to the starting point once the balloon lands.
