The reclining chairs arranged inside Baltimore Wellness Co-op, LLC help create a supportive and calming environment as clients receive acupuncture in a group setting. Licensed acupuncturist Lolita Smith administers the treatments with a gentle hand, inserting hair-thin needles into specific points on the body to alleviate a variety of aches and pains. Clients come to Lolita to find relief from digestive issues, headaches, sciatica, chronic fatigue, and depression. When not helping her clients at the clinic, Lolita also works for the University of Maryland Medical System, teaching meditation and administering acupuncture.
