About Bambino's Pizza & Pasta

When it comes to opening your own pizza joint, you need two things: a love for pizza and a good mentor. The guys behind Bambino's Pizza & Pasta, Stephen and Robert, certainly had both of those things covered—especially the mentor part. That's because they grew up making pizza alongside Stephen's father, Sal, who founded the legendary Sal's Pizzeria in Mamaroneck, NY.

Since opening Bambino's in 2000, Stephen and Robert have churned out New York-style brick-oven pies using Sal's tips and even borrowing a few of his recipe ideas. Their Sicilian pizza, for instance, echoes Sal's famous creation with a medley of sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, and peppers. Beyond 'za, Stephen and Robert also pack the Bambino's menu with salads, pastas, and Italian specialties like chicken marsala—all made from scratch.
