On my recent visit, (the first time), the food was delicious. However the service was was poor. THe people were friendly, but other tables were seated after us and left before us. I had asked for refills on water and bread and never recieved either. The food was very good, so a trip back is warranted.

What You'll Get

Pasta became a staple of Italian fare after Emperor Caligula famously elevated a plate of lasagna to the Roman Senate. Feast on political recipes with today's Groupon to Bambino's Bistro in Auburn. Choose between the following options:

  • For $15, you get $30 worth of Italian cuisine for dinner.
  • For $7, you get $15 worth of Italian cuisine for lunch.

The chefs at Bambino's Bistro import Italian flavors into pasta, signature ravioli, and specialty pizza pies listed on its menu. Stamp tongue passports with the bruschetta a modo nostro's toasted bread, topped with an edible crown of chopped tomato, onions, garlic, and basil ($4.50), before sating noodle yens with traditional pasta dishes stolen from the Colosseum's hidden recipe bunker. Six types of stuffed ravioli include the ravioli Fantasia's tomato-dough morsels, which are stuffed with goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach before being drenched in a vodka sauce ($14.95), and stromboli comes stuffed with mozzarella, pepperoni, green peppers, and ham ($5.99). Seventeen varieties of gourmet pizza toss an edible frisbee to appetites, and dough-slingers also charcoal grill 10-inch pies ($8.95–9.95) and stuff two specialty 'zas with either veggies or six types of meat ($20/pie; $3.50/slice).

Diners end meals by excavating the espresso-soaked layers of tiramisu sprinkled with cocoa powder ($5.95), savoring the last sweet bites while relaxing at candlelit tables draped in white cloths. The rustic, warm shades of Bambino Bistro's interior encourage people to linger, putting off housework or court dates.
