About Barbecue, Boots & Badges Invitational Competition: Battle of the Pitmasters
The aromas of brisket, pork, and ribs descend on NorthPark Center as teams battle for barbecue supremacy. Police departments and fire departments will go head to head, stoking coals and grilling up tender cuts of prime meats. Keeping everybody honest, Myron Mixon will be on hand to lend his developed palate and final verdict. Everyone else can hit the circuit, drinking craft beer and trading in tasting tickets for as much barbecue as they can handle. Funds from the event will go to help local police and fire departments.
