It's tough to relax just before a waxing appointment. With that in mind, renowned architect Chris Kofitsas decided to design Bare by Tru to inspire total serenity. To do that, he outfitted the reception area with its own porch swing, hung whimsical lanterns from the ceiling, and covered accent walls with full-sized pictures of nature scenes.

The peaceful, garden-like atmosphere certainly helps put male and female clients at ease, but the wax itself helps just as much. It's a specialized aromatherapy wax that wraps around the hair while avoiding the skin for a much more comfortable experience. In addition to using the wax, the experienced technicians can get rid of unwanted hairs by sugaring them with an all-natural paste, threading them away, or serving them notarized eviction notices. To accommodate clients interested in putting the finishing touches on their newly smoothened looks, they also offer airbrush tans and peels.
