Q:

Hi, I could not find any information on the training your laser hair removal stuff has. Does the person who performs the laser hair removal have any medical training, e.g. dermatologist? Thanks

kuanysh k.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

Hello , Our Laser hair removal service is done by a very qualified licensed Aesthetician who's training includes a very in depth understanding of Histology, Dermatology, and Physiology of the Skin. In addition to this, have passed a comprehensive exam and is a nationally certified laser technician. Thanks for your question.

Q:

What is the difference between tradtional bikini and extended bikini? I just purchased the small package, but I think I need the medium (for extended bikini). Could I pay the difference in the packages at my first session? Thanks!

Kelli Lynn W.  asked on  Jan 24, 2013

A:

Hi, In general; a traditional bikini is 1 inch outside pantyline and dose not go down the entire leg. A extended bikini is 1 1//4 inch inside, outside and on top of the the pantyline, in addition to all the way down the leg. Take care

Q:

Hi I submitted a question before, but I am wondering if it did not go through as I have not seen an answer yet. I have already had my legs treated at another salon, but I did not get full treatments as the place closed. Could I use a large area package and get 3 treatments of both the lower and upper legs. I dont need a full 6 sessions on either part as I have had treatments done before.

rain h.  asked on  Jan 24, 2013

A:

Hi Rain, Unfortunately treatment packages cannot be broken up; however outside of package deals prices are usually given per area per session. Multiple area and multiple treatment discounts are also available and can be discussed in our free consultation. I hope this helps.

Q:

Is this laser the same as IPL?

Sara M.  asked on  Jan 24, 2013

A:

Hi Sarah, IPL is not a laser; it is a xenon flash lamp. In contrast to hair removal lasers, IPL devices were first developed for the purpose of photorejuvenation. Wrongly marketed as faster and cheaper, IPL does involve shorter sessions since a thicker tip is used. However, it requires more total sessions to achieve a genuinely permanent result: an average of 10 to 12 with IPL versus 5 to 6 with a laser. There is a lot of information on the web which compare and contrast both or if you are needing technical information or preferences. I hope this helps and have a great week.

Q:

Hi have had treatments done on my legs. The place where I had the treatments has gone out of business, so I need a few more done. I was wondering if I could split a large package and get 3 treatments done on both the upper and lower leg, which would total 6 treatments. I only ask because I dont need that many treatments on either area.

Q:

To effectively treat hair-removal you need a treatment every 6 weeks but this groupon states that it expires after 90 days so it does not give you enough time for 6 treatments. How are you addressing this? Or does the 90 day statement mean that you just have to start the treatments within 90 days?

Pam  asked on  Jan 24, 2013

A:

No, all treatments do not have to be used in 90 days. Most patients need at least 6 effective treatments spaced 4 -12 weeks apart. All is needed is to make sure you have a consult or your first session within 90 days. Regards

Q:

What kind of laser is used for the laser hair removal treatments?

Jessica M.  asked on  Jan 24, 2013

A:

Our spa uses the LightSheer Diode Laser System which offers high powers and both short and very long pulses to safely and effectively remove hair. This also has a cool tip on the hand piece to reduce skin irritation. Thanks for the question

Q:

Do you have to use all the treatments up within 90 days? Or just start you sessions? I thought you had to wait 2 months between each treatment? So how much time do you have to get all the treatments done?
