I bought this Groupon for my 2 boys (11 and 12) and I who were visiting out of town from Greensboro, unexpectedly. I wanted to do something different with them other than the usual bowling and arcades and this was great! The staff were friendly and helpful! With their tips, I was able to get the hang of it towards the end. I wish I was there longer. I would return and would recommend this!

Indoor archery range allows one-hour bow rental with basic instruction, educating both new & experienced bow benders

Archery helps maintain nature’s balance—hunters wield bows to keep deer populations in check, while Cupid’s arrows make deer fall in love. Keep the circle of life moving with today's Groupon: for $25, you get a one-hour bow and arrow practice session for two, including rental and basic instruction, at Barefoot Archery (a $50 value).

In business since 1966, Barefoot Archery caters to hunters, competitive shooters, and children alike with an indoor range. Visitors try out one of the many bows during a one-hour rental, informed by the USAA-certified staff's expert tips, like the difference between an arrow shaft and a super-fly detective Shaft. Besides rental, Barefoot hosts Junior Olympic Archer Development programs and regularly features specials on essential archery tackle, such as camo vests, ready-to-shoot bows, and adoptable Little Johns.

About Barefoot Archery

Owner Jessie Smith and the staff at Barefoot Archery maintain a pro shop packed with an all-encompassing array of gear for enthusiasts of all skill levels, from dedicated hunters to hobbyists. Every time a customer purchases a bow from the shop, one of Barefoot Archery's experts takes time to show him or her how to properly wield and maintain the new piece, reducing the chance that customers will accidentally pull the self-destruct string. Jessie also relishes the opportunity to teach youngsters the art of the bull’s-eye through Junior Olympic Archery Development classes held in the shop's indoor range.
