What You'll Get
Welcome to Groupon, Abbotsford! For our inaugural deal, $20 gets you $40 worth of hearty fare and drinks at The Baron Bar and Grill, located near the Abbotsford International Airport. Since this is everyone's first Groupon, allow us to briefly explain how it works.
How Groupon Works
Groupon is a combination of the words group and coupon. Each day, we offer an unbeatable deal on the best of Abbotsford: restaurants, spas, sporting events, theatre, and more. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power." If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people (15 for today's deal) sign up by the end of the day, you'll be emailed a gift certificate the next morning. You can print your Groupons, or redeem them with our mobile app. Use them whenever you want until the deal expires—today's expires in one year. If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!
Eating at home is so relaxing your body may fall asleep mid-digestion—ergo, it's best to eat as close to a game of darts as possible. Worry your way into a well-digested meal with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of contemporary pub fare and drinks at The Baron Bar and Grill, located on Tower Street.
The Baron Bar and Grill is an eclectic eatery serving up hearty fare in a family-friendly atmosphere. The extensive menu includes upscale pub fare and classic entrées that sizzle away before your hungry eyes—a dazzling view only further accented by airliners majestically migrating across the adjacent tarmac. A meaty selection of fan favourite burgers awaits the chomper treatment, such as Baron's ultimate monster burger ($18.95), which, like conjoined heifers in fedoras, has double the beef and is lavished with luxurious toppings. Pasta meets piquancy in the mouth-combusting spicy jambalaya penne ($17.95), while salads meet a most crunchy destiny in the Baja California prawn and chicken taco salad ($14.95). Dressed up in prompt and friendly service, The Baron Bar and Grill makes a pleasant pilgrimage for families, friendly nights out, and blind dates that deliver at least one soul mate: food.
- The new owners aren’t skimping. The meals are large, filling and really good. The wine and cocktail list tells you this isn’t just a pub but a nightspot. – Mike Archer, Abbotsford Today
- Food was and always is unbelievable. The Chef and the rest of the kitchen staff must really love what they do, because the food always looks and tastes great… – T-DoDo, Urbanspoon
