Bartow History Museum's motto is "Opening a door to the past," because that's how the museum approaches northwest Georgia's heritage. Focusing on the day-to-day life of residents dating back to the early 19th century, the museum's trademark exhibits recreate the homes and workspaces of Bartow County through the centuries.

Both my parents grew up in Cartersville, GA, and I wanted to visit for this reason. It's a nice museum. This is a nice way to spend an hour, and the price is very reasonable. The one person working when we visited was very nice.

Was a fun day trip ! Learned a lot about the town and it’s people ! Liked the displays and items from the time period ! The lady at the front on Saturday 3/13th was awesome ! We ask her about local places to eat and she have us a couple of places ! And she was spot on with them ! My grandson enjoyed watching the train go through town while we ate ! Thank you !
