When journalism student Jo responds to marine biology grad student Jules' online personal ad, she thinks she's in for a night of "sex to change the course of the world." But, it turns out Jules meant his words literally, and has created a sealed-off laboratory living space to wait out The End. So begins the charming doomsday comedy boom, in which the gay Jules and the baby-opposed Jo must reconcile their differences in order to begin remaking humanity.
