Great experience! My son did the Shape a Bowl class and loved it. The class was very hands-on. Tony was his instructor-very informative and patient. The rest of my family now wants to takes classes.

Make a Terrarium classes introduce students to hot glass-crafting techniques in a safe environment. After students turn and shape molten glass, terrariums cool for a few days in an annealing oven before they’re ready to be filled with flora. Starter kits are available for an extra fee. During a Party of 4 class, quartets learn to safely cut glass as they create plates, sun catchers, or coasters using colored flat glass.<p>

The nonprofit Bay Area Glass Institute supports glass arts in its community by providing affordable studio space for artists, holding events and exhibits of local work, and teaching basic classes.
