Q:

We have a 9 year old who is a competent bike rider and would like to go on the Guided Tour. Could she get her own bike or would she need to ride tandem with an adult?

A:

The Groupon for 2 Daily Guided Tours could be used for" 2 adult signle hybrid bikes on the Daily Guide Tour - or - 1 adult and 1 child (2 bikes) on the Daily Guided Tour Thanks!

Q:

I have a family of 4 and would like to purchase the 4 self-guided tours for $70, but I want to make sure we can use all 4 vouchers in the same visit. The fine print says only one per visit. Is that one Groupon voucher (good for 4 bikes) or can we really only use one of the four at a time? Thanks! K-

Kerry M.  asked on  Mar 20, 2013

A:

You would only purchase 1 $70 Groupon as it is valid for 4 people.

A:

Sorry to be confusing! I think that is written so you don't combine coupons? Anyway, yes yes yes bring the 1 groupon in for all 4 of you and each of you will get a bike- that is absolutely what its for!

Hello! For the self-guided tour for two people, how much would it be with taxes? (because we have to pay taxes when we'll be on place, right?)

joanie g.  asked on  Mar 19, 2013

A:

Hi Joanie, Its all included, the only extra cost would be the entirely optional damage insurance at $4.00 per bike.

Sorry for our late response! You can buy 1 groupon (for 2 people) then book the 3rd on our website www.baycitybike.com and still get 10% off the day rate....and just buy the included water when you guys come in.

Q:

do you rent bike trailers for kids? We are a family of 5. but our children are little, so we would like trailers to put in the back of the bike

sandra z.  asked on  Mar 17, 2013

A:

You can see their kids' options here.

Sammy T.  from  Groupon  replied on  Mar 18, 2013

A:

Not sure how little your kids are, but the trailer has 2 5 point harnesses in it, to fit 2 baby/toddlers (ie, a 4 year old and a 1 year old). Max weight is 100 lbs. there's also a storage compartment just behind their seat, so you an put a back pack/ diaper back/ snacks/ etc in there!

Q:

Hello, Can you please clarify the deal for me? I am interested in the self-guided tour for 2 people. It states: "For two: One self-guided bike rental and two waters." I assume it is one bike per person? Also - we will be traveling to San Francisco and will only be available to do the tour on May 24th. Will we be able to make a reservation for that specific day? Thanks, Kelly

Kelly S.  asked on  Mar 17, 2013

A:

Each person will receive a bike. No reservations are necessary for a self-guided tour.
