Acupuncture uses tiny needles to redirect the body's energy, which is a better use for needles than sewing yourself into a sleeping bag forever. Feel better with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $39 for a consultation with a 60-minute acupuncture, acupressure, and cupping treatment (a $185 value)
  • $48 for a 60-minute acupuncture session with a 30-minute massage (a $135 value)

Acupuncturists insert thin needles into the body's energy centers to relieve stress, tension, and chronic pain. They pair acupuncture with a basic acupressure massage and cupping, a practice designed to draw toxins and tension from the skin. Alternatively, they complement acupuncture with tui na massage, a traditional Chinese modality that translates as "push-grasp," describing the motions that the therapists make with their hands. Both treatment courses take about 90 minutes.

Complete Balance Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic

Like the human body, Chinese characters have complex layers. That's why, when picking the letter to represent their traditional Chinese medicinal clinic, registered TCM practitioner and acupuncturist Esther Yoo chose carefully. She settled upon the character xin, which simultaneously represents trust, confidence, sincerity, and faith, four pillars of her philosophy of personal treatment. In addition to classic training, Esther is qualified for needle-less Korean hand therapy, the Dr. Tan balance method, and Master Tung's acupuncture, both of which may provide relief quickly and with lasting results.

The staff, which includes a physiotherapist and two registered massage therapists, employs a variety of traditional Chinese medicinal techniques, from recognizable procedures such as acupuncture and herbal medicine to more specialized treatments, such as the uniquely Chinese massage modalities known as tui na and cupping. The treatments attempt to transcend simple symptoms, instead targeting the root of any physiological problem, such as a slight spinal misalignment or the fact that someone planted a tree in your back.

Customer Reviews

Great people, great service. I see myself going back there for sure!

Both the acupuncturist and massage therapist were great! Very thorough in their pre-appointment assessments and met all my needs. For a first time patient for acupuncture, I was a little nervous as to what to expect, but they made me feel quite comfortable, and I would definitely return!
