Masterful guitar duo Strunz and Farah combine the cultural riches of their native lands – Costa Rica and Iran – with improvisation-rich original compositions. Working at the forefront of world music, Strunz and Farah imbue their songs with Afro-Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern flavors. Performing together since 1980, they’ve released numerous albums to great acclaim and collaborated with dozens of renowned world, jazz and classical musicians, among them such luminaries as Sting and Rodrigo y Gabriela. Their latest album, Moods and Visions, is another beautifully complex fusion of genres. See the Grammy-nominated pair perform in New York City at B.B. King Blues Club.
