Legendary Texas musician, humorist and political candidate Kinky Friedman, known as “America’s Jewish Troubadour,” returns to New York City for an appearance at B.B. King’s Blues Club. Friedman will sing the tunes that earned him fame, including “They Ain’t Makin’ Jews Like Jesus Anymore” and “Ride ‘Em Jewboy.” Described as a cross between Mark Twain, Groucho Marx and Johnny Cash, Friedman is a hilarious, multitalented troubadour with a reputation as an equal opportunity offender. He’ll perform songs, offer his trademark social and political commentary and deal out a healthy dose of irreverence towards the powers that be.
