Wonderful people, clean, cozy little cabin, good-sized pool, and beautiful lake nearby.

The campsite wasn’t the greatest for pitching a tent. The ground was mostly rock and shale. Sites were pretty close to each other/small for it being “primitive”. Also they are very disorganized when it comes to kayaking/canoeing/letting you know what you’re supposed to do or where to go. Probably won’t return. It’s was a bit of a fiasco.

The "primitive" camp sites are just what I was looking for. Nice setup.

Great time with my 3 boys. This is our end of summer "guys" trip and while the campground was mostly empty, all the amenities were open and available including the camp store. Good time was had.

This place is sooooooo much fun! A very short walk or drive to Lake Arthur. The campground is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful at all times. We come here on a regular basis. My only complaint about the kayak rental was trying to get a tandem kayak off the storage tree with only the help on my 11 year old son. It would have been better if the rental units were just there for me to drag to the water. Would buy this groupon again though!!

The grounds themselves are absolutely beautiful. They have a nice playground pool Etc and our spot was right where we could see it so my girls could play whenever they wanted . However we only had a two-night stay and one and a half days were ruined buy an unruly group of kids with very little supervision who were there with some sort of organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters. They ran through our Campground looked in our tent, we're mean to our kids on the playground, and we're very rude. If not for this, I would give the place 5 stars. There was a lot to to do around there, wonderful state parks. We hardly had to spend anything above the cost of getting there to have a great time . I just wish we could afford to go again so that we could get a full vacation experience minus the unruly children . This was our only vacation and I feel it was sort of ruined by the situation .
