Beer and Wine Hobby’s 60-minute Introductory Home-Winemaking Class transforms the semi-casual wine enthusiast into a master oenologist capable of producing tongue-tantalizing vintages. Students will learn about the basic necessary equipment; how to properly use, sanitize, and store equipment; the differences in making wine with a concentrate kit and with fresh fruit; selecting proper yeast for use with fresh fruit; and, finally, bottling procedures—namely, removing the marooned sailor's message from the bottle first. Novice vintners will come away with the ability to further intimidate grapes through the ability to make and package wine. Classes are limited in size to allow for individualized attention from the instructor. Get the goods on winemaking and set off to immortalize yourself through fermentation with an introductory home-winemaking class from Beer and Wine Hobby.
