About BeeWeaver
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
The BeeWeaver breed is one of the few commercially bred bees that do not need chemicals to survive. We selected our bees to survive despite the varroa mites and our hardy bees are productive in today's harsh beekeeping environment. Our beekeeping store and gift shop offer free events weekly.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We will provide all the protective gear you need to be in a hive of bees! Please wear comfortable, outdoor clothing and close toed shoes. We recommend not wearing perfume or other strong smelling fragrances.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
For years we have had bee curious people come to our honey farm and ask for tours. We decided to embrace their curiosity and build a learning center for beekeeping and a honey bar for honey tasting. Dive into our Bee World!
What do you love most about your job?
Honey bees are one of the most interesting, smart, beneficial animals on the planet. We celebrate the honey bee daily by sharing our knowledge and the fruits of the beehive with others.
