Q:

could you tell me the difference using diamond tip or aluminum oxide and if one is better what would the price difference be I am planning to buy eight appts. Thank you very much

Becky B.  asked on  Sep 8, 2012

A:

I prefer aluminum oxide vs the diamond tip personally and professionally. Although the diamond tip is more convenient for the user, no fuss no mess throw away the tip..... the aluminum oxide, in my opinion provides a much better result.

Q:

I have broken capillaries on some areas of my skin and skin is sensitive. Will this aggravate that? I've been told that I need to use only gentle treatments on my skin. Also, do you take evening appointments since I work full-time?

Janet B.  asked on  Sep 8, 2012

A:

Each customer skin is individually analyzed prior to treatment. Recommendations are made prior to rendering treatment. I do not recommend microdermabrasion for couperouse skin however, light chemical peels can acheive the goals of uneven pigmentation. I also recommend a calming facial to stregthen weakened capillaries and rosacea skin types. In the case you are not eligible you will still receive the benefit of equal services that you are eligible for.

Q:

Hi, how often should you have a treatment, and do you see results after 1 treatment or do you need a series?

suellen s.  asked on  Sep 7, 2012

A:

It is dependent on the reason microderm is being sought. If for the reasons of resolving issues with uneven pigmentation, acne scarring, dull skin, rough texture we recommend a series of 6 every 2 weeks.

Is this treatment the same microdermabrasion treatments offered at the plastic surgeon and dermatologists offices. Are you using sand with a suction or the microdermabrasion wand?

victoria l.  asked on  Sep 7, 2012

Yes. We use aluminum oxide crystals and vacuum system. We also have the ability to change over to diamond tip microderm with notice
