Beijing Restaurant's beautifully plated chinese dishes match the beauty in and around the restaurant itself. Outside the windows, the glassy blue surface of Samiahmoo and Boundary Bays spread out, lapping against the immediate waterfront and distant mountains alike. Inside, the floor to ceiling windows shed light on simple white linens, black chairs, and potted plants. Woven baskets full of dumplings precede entrees of fiery red Gong Bao Chicken stir-fry and sweet and sour ribs. For dessert, chefs prepare deep-fried pumpkin pie and sweet taro shaped like the blossom of a flower and coated in deep purple blueberry syrup.
