Originally a still-life art form, boudoir photography switched to human subjects when clothiers stopped making apple-size garter belts. Bite the fruits of seduction with today's Groupon: for $50, you get a Little Black Dress Essentials boudoir photo shoot which includes five image files at Larissa Photography (a $150 value).
Larissa Photography's experienced female photographer harnesses her point-and-shoot prowess to capture women's photogenic pulchritude. During the 30-minute session in the studio’s designated boudoir suite, portrait subjects wear up to two of their own steamy ensembles, such as a lacy camisole or an orange hazmat suit, as they strike alluring poses for the camera.
Clients should arrive in street clothes wearing a bit more makeup than usual, and they may bring a friend, a bottle of wine, or a security blanket to ensure maximum between-pose comfort. Two to three days after the shoot, clients receive password-protected access to five tastefully retouched images to print as a gift for a significant other or conversation-sparking placemats.
