Savor signature steaks and sips in a revered railhouse restaurant with today’s Groupon. For $25, you’ll enjoy $50 worth of quality cuts and cocktails at Bennett’s Chop and Railhouse, an everyday eatery located on the old rail line on West 7th Street in St. Paul, which may soon move locations—into your dreams.

A casual ambience coupled with classic fare lends a neighborhood feel to this cozy beef factory. Start with an order of stuffed mushrooms, plump caps packed with a baked, bubbly blend of cheddar, mozzarella, wild rice medley, and Mornay sauce ($7.95). Carnivores will appreciate tender center cuts of sirloin ($14.95) or grilled beef tenderloin kabobs ($16.95), sided with a choice of potato (baked, au gratins, or fresh-cut french fries) and soup or salad. The dinner menu also includes seafood, chicken, pasta, and sandwich options.

Pair entrees with specialty libations such as the Goombay Smash (Bacardi, Malibu, pineapple and orange juice, topped with Meyer’s dark rum), the Grand (grape vodka served over ice with cranberry juice and garnished with a lime), or Bennett's signature Bloody Mary (served with a fresh colossal shrimp). Bennett’s also serves a weekend breakfast and a daily lunch.

Sports fans will appreciate its shuttle service: fuel up before any Wild, Vikings, or Gopher home game and take advantage of roundtrip transportation. After, cap off the evening with nightly celebratory drink specials back at Bennett’s.

Common Bus Problems and How to Solve Them

Bennett’s offers shuttle service to and from sports games. While the service is incredibly convenient, you may be faced with any number of transportation-related complications. Here’s a guide to common bus problems and how you can solve them:

The Problem: You’re on the bus, miles from the meals of Bennett’s and the stadium fare at the game. You’re so hungry! Then, mercenaries board the bus, taking hostages.
The Solution: Hide in the bathroom. Establish communications with the mercenaries’ vaguely European leader, Gustav. Take out the thugs one by one and reunite with your estranged wife.

The Problem: The bus breaks down. As a former cop, you’re qualified to help diagnose the engine. Out of nowhere, terrorists take over the bus.
The Solution: Why did it have to be this bus, on this day? Armed with only your sidearm and some one-liners, take back the bus and again reunite with your estranged wife.

The Problem: A cranky passenger is making everyone crazy. You assume terrorists are involved, but they don’t seem to be.
The Solution: You’re getting too old for this. Surely, Gustav’s brother is trying to get revenge on the guise of an annoying passenger. You miss your wife.
