What You'll Get
Like houseguests, ocean waves are noisy in the morning, nice to sit by in the evening, and best when not wetting your carpets. Enjoy the tides on their turf with today's Groupon: for $75, you get a two-hour on-the-water powerboat training with a certified instructor at Best Boat Club Training Center (a $150 value).
Best Boat Club Training Center is now entering its 15th year of fostering aquatic adventures with a fleet of adrenaline-pumping accouterments. During a two-hour powerboating lesson, a coast-guard-certified instructor and the captain-in-training spend two hours one on one dicing through the waves to their locomotive advantage. Aboard the provided 21-foot center-console boat, mariners ages 10 and older learn how to dock, navigate high-speed stops, and bypass warring mermaid tribes without breaking a smile. This lesson, while not certification-granting, does provide Ahab enthusiasts the chance to spend two hours practicing their seaman scowl while learning how to use navigation aids and the proper vocabulary for dissuading mutinies.

About Best Boat Club and Rentals
Without a boat, it's hard to water-ski, snorkel, or arrive at a waterfront restaurant in style. Luckily, for people who don't own a personal watercraft, Best Boat Club and Rentals has been renting out a fleet of well-maintained vessels for almost two decades. At locations in Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, and Captiva Island, the company outfits aspiring boaters with everything they'll need for a day on the waves. With their "Water Limo" service, they even furnish guests with a driver, so they can devote their time on the boat more fully to looking for its gills. However, if clients want to improve their skills at the helm, the company's team has them covered there, too, with hands-on powerboat training and a sailing school.
