Like gasoline, feet must be carefully treated and refined before they can be used to propel automobiles. Amplify your octane with today's Groupon: for $19, you get a manicure and pedicure at Best Nails & Spa (a $38 value).

The friendly aestheticians at Best Nails & Spa clip, trim, and polish fingers and toes in a warmly lit setting. During the dual-service, 60-minute treatment, guests recline in plush leather massage chairs while feet soak in foamy bubbles, forgetting days spent pounding the pavement and their controlling relationship with gym shoes. Once tootsies are primped, a professional nail tech grooms cuticles, trimming and softening them with oil. The manicure then purges downtrodden digits of dirt, helping them to regain confidence through a proper shaping, sanding, and power-point lecture on self-worth. Once finished, fingertips and toetips can bask in a bold blush of OPI or China Glaze diamond-hard nail polish of choice, or may upgrade to a chip-resistant Gelish nail polish ($10/set), which tightly locks in color.

Best Nails & Spa

The pedicure chairs at Best Nails & Spa’s seem to well up around guests, along with a flood of other relaxing stimuli. Bubbling tubs tickle feet as nail technicians buff heels, groom cuticles, and polish toes with OPI and China Glaze polishes. While toes dry, patrons turn their attention to the movies playing on the shop’s television. The technicians also bear training in applying long-lasting Shellac polish, a polish that cures onto nails and repels chips for two weeks or until you drop your keys in a crate of brillo pads.
