What You'll Get

In 1926, Beatrice Mungai Ruggeri welcomed the first customers to her Milanese trattoria, where she manned the kitchen while her siblings waited tables. From that seminal bistro, the Bice restaurant family has grown into a fine-dining dynasty, exporting Italian elegance to gastronomes the world over. Today’s Reserve selection invites you and a guest to bask in the gourmet flavors of Bice’s Manhattan location with a three-course dinner that includes the following:

  • Two antipasti plates
  • Two entrees
  • Two desserts<p>

The culinary artisans at Manhattan’s Bice blend the traditions of Northern Italian cuisine with hints of American sensibilities, forging a menu peppered with fresh pastas, gourmet seafood, and venerable Mediterranean delights imbued with a sophisticated flourish. Under a soaring, bright ceiling transected by geometric beams, antipasti dishes such as tuna tartar in soy-mango vinaigrette and creamy gratinated asparagus parade across white-clothed tables. Ribbons of pasta entangle themselves with gems of lobster, wild mushroom, and cherry tomato for the tagliolini con aragosta dish, elegantly framed by the crustacean’s original shell, and natural veal shank braised to buttery tenderness partners with parmesan risotto and herb gremolata for osso buco, one of the house’s signature dishes. Decadent desserts such as panna cotta crowned with caramelized bananas help to bring meals to a sweet conclusion.

Although today’s Reserve selection does not include alcohol, Bice augments its alimentary charms with a wine list flaunting a regularly rotating lineup of vintages hailing from Italy, France, the United States, and other vine-friendly nations. The restaurant’s cream-hued walls mingle with the décor of award-winning designer Adam Tihany in an art-deco-inspired setting, creating an atmosphere that combines comfort and elegance as seamlessly as an Italian nobleman’s hammock salon.
