It is a great corn maze, but too far from other desinations that it isn't really worth the time with so much else to do in Gatlinburg.

This is the deal. It's in the country and it is not manned like the ones I had previously attended, it was simply my group and the corn maze. We set the kids free and they had a ball and since we were the only ones there, we could see the corn moving when one of our kids did so we didn't have to be concerned. As we were leaving we asked if we could be included in the Hay Ride and we were. It was 45 minutes of touring beautiful Loudon County country on a gorgeous day. Would everyone go for that, probably not, but we had a great time. Thanks, Stephanie Reese

Howard Farms fills brisk afternoons with a cornucopia of autumn activities, including the Big Piney corn maze and freshly-blazed haunted trail. Navigators consult a map as they meander through 8 acres of maize, answering trivia questions that point correct patrons toward freedom and lure unsure visitors and disoriented mailmen deeper into dense stalk jungles. Specters patrol the maze after dark October 22–31, when 8 years and older can tiptoe through haunted pathways from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Meanwhile, screams ring out from the Haunted Trail’s half-mile route, which steers thrill-seekers into forest foliage spookier than the ghost of a recently eaten sandwich. Hitch a ride on the Farm Store’s hay wagon to the trail’s mouth, which opens into a woodland of harrowing sights and sounds.
