What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our philosophy has always been - If it's not the best, FIX IT! This philosophy to all aspects of the dining experience at Big T's. It starts with the quality of our meats, right down to every ingredient in our rubs, sauces and sides. Our passion for top quality BBQ is evident in every bite.
What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared?
Our slow smoked pulled pork Loaded Nachos is our most popular entree (BTW - we smoke our pork for 20 hours). Tortilla chips smothered with our queso cheese, our signature smoked baked beans, and pulled pork. Top it off any way you like - Homemade salsa, onions, cilantro, olives and jalapenos.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
It all started several years ago as a hobby/passion to make great BBQ. As word began to spread about our food, we started getting requests to cater special events for people. Our first catering event was for 1,200 people! At that point our "Hobby Gone Wild" was born.
What do you love most about your job?
We absolutely love making people happy with great tasting BBQ! When someone says "I'm from Texas and I know good BBQ, and that's good BBQ!", we know we're doing it right. That fuels our passion for great food.
