About Bike Attack
From Berlin to Venice Beach to Santa Monica—that's how far Bike Attack has traveled since 1994. Founded by US Downhill and BMX racer Ericson Monsalud, with the help of his wife and the US Army, the shop began by selling bikes to US soldiers, US embassy members, and their families—racking up plenty of praise in the process. A few years after the US Army left Germany, Bike Attack followed suit, trekking to California and quickly gaining famous fans such as Julianne Moore, Leonardo DiCaprio, David Beckham, and Robert Downey, Jr. The reason: the more than 40 high-quality brands they represent—Schwinn, Norco, and Kona among them—plus top-notch tuneups and rentals that keep locals exploring the streets and coastal trails right outside Bike Attack's doors.
