About Mission Yoga
Come check out why Mission Yoga was voted Best of the Bay by the Bay Guardian and Best of SF by the SF Weekly. Since 2001 Mission Yoga has provided a vibrant art-filled space that welcomes a diverse crowd of people to come together for healing, growing and having good times in community. Initially teaching only Bikram Yoga, in the last couple years they have expanded their classes and now offer several variations of Hot Yoga including a 60-minute express, an intermediate, a silent class and one with curated music; build core strength with Inferno Hot Pilates, a high-intensity, low-impact workout that blends yoga postures and Pilates principles with an uplifting soundtrack; and melt fat while dancing your ass off with Buti Yoga, a calorie scorching workout that mixes power yoga and tribal dance. In addition to their classes, Mission Yoga has added two Samadhi Float Tanks to their offerings. Floating is a water therapy in which you lie weightless in a pool of skin temperature saline solution with no lights and no sounds. The solution is so dense that you float like a cork and your muscles can completely 100% relax. Additionally, all the sensory inputs have been turned down, so your brain has much less information to process. All of this combines to create an experience that will leave you more relaxed, more creative, less stressed, more recovered and ready for anything.
