What You'll Get
Though adding heat to yoga turns the exercise routine into a more rigorous workout, adding heat to a doghouse makes it a less effective shelter and a threat to neighbors. Cook your yoga experience with today's Groupon: for $39, you get one month of unlimited classes at Bikram Yoga Los Angeles–Covina (a $150 value).
Bikram Yoga Los Angeles–Covina challenges both first-time students and masters of the rejuvenating, body-bending art form. During the 90-minute classes, participants get access to the roomy studio's warm environment, which is heated to 100–105 degrees with about 40% humidity to amplify the workout's muscle-relaxing and toxin-flushing effects. Bikram-certified instructors guide exercisers through each session, which includes 26 Hatha yoga postures, two breathing exercises, and a lecture about the origins of aviation. Every class is designed to work all the body's fibers, threads, and joints, simultaneously cleansing and refueling the body with fresh oxygen. Classes run several times daily seven days a week, allowing students to fit core toning, limb limbering, and circulation boosting into their demanding schedules of core loosening, limb stiffening, and circulation thwarting.

About Bikram Yoga Covina
Within Bikram Yoga of Los Angeles' Covina studio, Dr. Vern Rollins helms a team of certified and passionate instructors who have taught thousands of classes and accrued hundreds of teacher-training hours. As the studio's temperature summits to 105 degrees with 40% humidity, these instructors model and explain poses, encourage deep breathing, and tiptoe around puddles. Thanks to their intimate knowledge of modifications, they capably assist students of all levels. Further, they maintain a flexible schedule of morning and evening classes that are 90 minutes apiece.
Bikram’s 26 poses and two breathing exercises work to engage the entire body with the strength and grace of a full-contact symphony-orchestra performance. Systematically isolating muscle groups one at a time, the poses begin on a mat and work up to a standing position, gradually building stamina and flexibility and jump-starting circulation. As waves of heat loosen limbs enough to make sea-anemone shadow puppets, the body begins to sweat and release toxins. The studio rents yoga mats and has onsite showers.
