Bikram yoga became popular after a study concluded that the high heat was the main reason grandpas normally emerge from gym saunas feeling relaxed, limber, and totally nude. Experience the benefits of warmth without wishing for a blindfold with today's deal: for $25, you get 10 classes at Bikram Yoga Laguna Beach (a $165 value), located near the intersection of North Coast Highway and High Drive. All classes must be used within two months of the start of the first class.
Bikram Yoga Laguna Beach's impassioned, certified instructors remix the 26 pliable poses and two breathing exercises from the Bikram, or hot yoga, tradition, bestowing strength and flexibility while priming the different organs of the body to awaken and do their groovy thing. The 90-minute classes take place in a heated room to infuse each move with additional penetrating power and protect the body from injury, and each posture works in succession to prepare and stretch specific muscles, ligaments, and joints needed for the postures that follow. In addition to helping you work up a sweat and exile pesky toxins into a nearby closet, the Bikram method can improve concentration, patience, and self-control, and the high temperatures elevate your metabolism, making it easier to burn fat.
An inviting and encouraging vibe bounces off current and future rubber bodies at the facility, underscoring the discipline's suitability for most ages, all levels, and three members of the Doobie Brothers. Check the schedule to plan your classes.
Valid for new clients or previous clients that haven't taken a class in at least one year from 9/23/10. Valid for OC residents only. Must show ID.

Pacific Blue Yoga
Pacific Blue Yoga began as Bikram Yoga Laguna Beach in 2002. At the time, the studio focused on a single yoga style, with instructors leading patrons of all skill levels through 90-minute Bikram yoga classes, bathing bodies in hot air, which helps to loosen limbs for deeper stretching and coaxes out beads of sweat to flush out toxins and internal snowmen.
By 2015, however, the studio knew it needed to evolve along with yoga's rapid growth. To do so, Pacific Blue Yoga expanded its offerings beyond hot-yoga sessions to include roughly 40 classes a week in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin styles, among others.
