Q:

The Fine Print says "Online registration required". Since drop-ins are not allowed, are the available classes for this deal the same as those posted on your web site schedule (link in the deal) or will the availability be different? If different, please specify.

Jerry L.  asked on  Apr 22, 2012

A:

Hello Jerry Great question! All classes for this deal are those posted on the web site link. We have not restricted any classes but rather, we have set a certain number of spaces aside for regular students and a certain number for Groupon people in each class. We want to ensure we have enough room for everyone.

Q:

Once we activate our groupon, do we have a certain amount of time to use all of the classes? Or does the pass not expire?

Elise P.  asked on  Apr 22, 2012

A:

Hello Elise, Thanks for your question ~ all the classes should be used up by 31 August 2012.

Q:

How many spaces are set aside for Groupon students per class, per day?

Li C.  asked on  Apr 22, 2012

A:

Hello Li, every class is different according to how full our classes are with regular students. For example, the 6pm on a Monday is generally very busy so we have set less aside but the Tuesday 6pm is less busy, so we have set more aside. Every single class has been carefully considered as we want everyone, regular students and Groupons, to have a positive experience without being crowded. We have set aside the very maximum we possibly can, so there should be plenty of availibility. Hope to see you in the hot room soon :)

Q:

I still have some classes left on my regular priced account. Once I active the groupon, which account (regular or groupon) will be used first to deduct the classes I attend?

Li X.  asked on  Apr 23, 2012

A:

Hi Li, we can use either one. We will look at the expiry dates of both, and use the classes which are going to expire first. This will ensure that you do not lose any classes. Thanks for a great question - I am sure many of our regular members will find the info useful :)

Q:

What are the chances that many of the classes we try to attend are filled and we cannot use all of classes before august 31st?

Omar B.  asked on  Apr 23, 2012

A:

Hello Omar, we have maximised the online sign-up spots available to Groupon people and there is plenty of availability. We would suggest you book into the classes as soon as you have purchased your Groupon to ensure your place in class. You have four full months plus one week (or 400 classes, approx) to choose from to use up either 5 or 10 classes, depending on which option you choose. See you soon!

Q:

I am concerned that I will not get all of my 10 classes in before the expiration date due to popularity of the class. In the event of not being able to use all of the classes, what becomes of the groupon? Thanks!

Faith C.  asked on  Apr 23, 2012

A:

Hi Faith, There is plenty of availability and you have over 4 months in which to use the 10 classes. Every single class on our schedule is open to this Groupon deal, which equates to over 400 classes. We would suggest you book your classes as soon as you have purchased your Groupon to avoid disappointment.

Q:

It's been a number of years since I've done yoga. Since then I've had total hip replacement on both hips. I enjoyed joga in the past and I would really like to return to it. Do you recommend my return to yoga?

Rob  asked on  Apr 23, 2012

A:

Hello Rob, Bikram yoga will be perfect for you as it is very therapeutic - we have students who have had hip and knee replacements, hip resurfacing and a multitude of other surgeries. The heat allows them (and indeed, all of us) to stretch a little more than if we practiced in a normal temperature room. Bikram Yoga focusses on good form, rather than depth, and even if you can move only a little, you still get 100% medical benefit from the posture. Bikram Yoga consists of 26 Beginner's postures and 2 breathing exercises. There are no Intermediate or Advanced postures (no headstands or handstands, for examples) and you work to your own capabilities. Come and give it a try!
