What You'll Get
Heat makes objects more malleable, which explains why liquid magma turns back into stubborn donkeys wearing concrete shoes once it cools off. Find your body's inflamed flow with today's Groupon to Bikram Yoga Tenleytown. Choose between the following options:
- For $39, you get one month of unlimited classes (up to a $165 value).
- For $129, you get three months of unlimited classes (up to a $495 value).
Inside a mirrored studio, Bikram Yoga Tenleytown instructs the demanding yoga style of Bikram Choudhury, who designed his 26-pose sequence to relieve anxiety caused by everyday stressors. Each 90-minute lesson takes place in a classroom stoked to 105 degrees, a temperature ideal for aiding the body to deepen stretches, flush out toxins, or reheat pockets full of coffee. The yoga faculty guides new and old students through the standard series of asanas during morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. With continued practice, yoganauts often notice soothed minds and stronger muscles as Bikram's long-term benefits. For new yogis, the studio offers a set of suggestions to facilitate first visits, and all stretchers have the option to rent mats ($2, not included with this Groupon) and towels ($3, not included with this Groupon), or earn them by beating the resident Stretch Armstrong in a bend-off.

About Bikram Yoga Tenleytown
In 2009 DC native Maggie Doctors began practicing Bikram Yoga and was impressed by the physical and mental benefits she experienced. Two years later she decided to help others discover the healing potential of the practice, and she became a Bikram-certified teacher in the spring of 2011. Dedicated to expanding her knowledge, Doctors continues to expand her studies—learning as a student under Rusty Wells and Bhakti Flow and deepening her understanding of philosophy, asana posture, and more in order to best assist people in seeking better health and wellness.
