Bikram-certified teachers at Bikram Yoga West Edmonton lead students through the 26-posture sequence in a heated room. The heat flushes toxins and stretches the body so practitioners can perform poses like the half-moon, camel, and standing bow. Instructors help improve each pupil's poses so their bodies reap the benefits of hot yoga, including increased strength and flexibility, improved concentration and focus, a stronger immune system, and reduced blood pressure. Although the series is challenging, it is safe and doable for participants of all ages, experience, and fitness levels.
